This isn't some strange arbitrary or unexplainable sense, in fact it's our bodies natural defense system preparing us for a potential encounter. Learning to recognize what these cues are will enable us to plan, and then ACT as opposed to freezing when things kick off.

Grant has been a “frontliner” in the area of professional violence for 13 years. This time includes infantry with an operational tour as well as many years working in a prison. This has been a huge help in understanding a real context of violence.
Grant likes to see others succeed, and so has devoted a massive amount of his time to understanding social dynamics. This is to ensure he can communicate in a language with each of his students so that they are able to absorb as much of the DNA material based on their own personal needs.
Grant is highly enthusiastic and passionate to help others realize more of their untapped potential, as done informally many times over the years as well.

Defence Lab incorporates people from military, law enforcement, rough upbringings and the everyday individual. This gives a wide range of perspectives and experience from which we can all benefit from and grow stronger together!

Want to be better prepared? There are ways to improve outside of coming to a class as well. For example:
Defencelab.com has an online student program with investigation videos. These videos show and give considerations to applying your skill set in various circumstances.
Physical fitness: Defence Lab drills can be very physically demanding. The recommendation is to suppliment with a short, high intensity workouts. For people with families/restricted timeframes this is an excellent opportunity to gain better functional strength better condition. It really works well!
This is the Defence Lab waiver. I will have some on-hand for class. However you can familiarize yourself with it, or even better print and fill it out so we can get to training faster!
